Job Title: Hostel Warden

Location: Kolhapur

Employment Type: Full time

Job Summary:

The Warden will be responsible for the overall supervision, discipline, and smooth functioning of the hostel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hostel Administration & Supervision

- Oversee day-to-day hostel operations and ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and orderliness.
- Maintain up-to-date records of hostel occupancy and student details.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams for issue resolution.
- Ensure implementation of hostel rules, policies, and procedures.

2. Student Welfare & Discipline

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.




- Address and resolve students’ grievances in a timely manner.
- Counsel students on discipline, behavior, and community living.
- Handle emergencies and report incidents to higher management as per protocol.

3. Coordination & Communication

- Act as the primary point of contact between hostel residents and management.
- Coordinate with transport vendors and facilities teams as needed.
- Maintain transparent communication with parents/guardians (where applicable).
- Submit regular reports on hostel activities, attendance, and incidents.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate in any discipline (Hospitality / Administration preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in hostel management, educational institutions, or facility administration.
- Experience working with students.

Other Requirements:

- Should be available at the hostel and accessible to students round-the-clock (for residential role).
