Role : Software Engineer – ServiceNow ITSM

Exp: 7+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

- Serve as a technical expert and mentor within the team, setting direction and making key architectural decisions.
- Lead by example in designing and implementing robust, scalable software solutions.
- Promote best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and documentation.

Project Delivery & Collaboration

- Partner with engineering managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals, prioritise work,



and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation.

Team Culture & Continuous Improvement

- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and learning.
- Refine engineering practices and drive continuous improvement across the team.
- Regularly report on team health, project status, and identify areas for growth and support.

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for software engineering and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in Node.js, Glide Script, Jelly, and AngularJS.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform development and ServiceNow Studio.




- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
