Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting reviews:

Understanding the Regulatory instructions

Identifying the BDE’s and test criteria to execute the review to reach a conclusion on Pass / Fail





Understanding of a Bank’s balance sheet and the key products across domains like FINREP. Liquidity, Own Funds.

Ability to document the review in the prescribed format to evidence:

Data Lineage / system hops that the transaction has taken from source to return

Updating the central Book of Work with the status and providing commentary for any anomalies

Evidencing the audit trail for each of the samples under review

Stakeholder Engagement:

Ability to work with the TTT (Targeted Transaction Testing) Team across various pods / products to prioritize the reviews as per stipulated timelines.

Ability to reach out to Business for documentation requirement





Strong communication skills to articulate the Fails, appraise the TTT Lead / POD Lead / Stakeholders on the progress.

Prior experience of working on HSBC Systems and IRR project will be highly preferable.
