Hiring: Take Off Estimator Engineer Multi Unit & Commercial Projects(Civil)

Role Description:
- For each project, begin by reviewing plans, blueprints, and the “Finish Schedule” to determine if the materials specified (granite, marble, quartz) fall under our scope of work.
- Accurately define scope before proceeding with take-offs to avoid errors or exclusions.
- Perform detailed take-offs using PlanSwift for countertops, backsplashes, and edge details (laminated, mitre, and standard).
- Thoroughly review all project documents associated with each bid or proposal, including but not limited to: Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, Schedules, Owner requirements, and any related documents.
- Lead, train, and mentor other estimators to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency across all bids.
- Collaborate closely with project management and leadership teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Hands-on estimating experience in the countertop industry is required.
- Experience in multi-unit projects is a strong plus.
- Ability to interpret finish schedules and drawings to determine material scope accurately.
- Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Ability to work 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM IST (aligning with U.S. Eastern Standard Time).
- Extreme attention to detail, deep countertop knowledge, and a high degree of accountability.
