Python Ansible Automation Architect

Experience: 8+ years in IT automation, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Ansible Automation Architect with deep expertise in infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and Kubernetes platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and reusable automation solutions using Ansible, with strong integration across Python-based tooling, Kubernetes, and CI/CD ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect, design, and implement end-to-end automation solutions using Ansible, Ansible Tower (or AWX), and supporting technologies.
- Develop robust, reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, and custom modules.




- Lead automation strategy and implementation across infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and compliance.
- Enhance Ansible with Python scripts, experience working on Kubernetes, and DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Collaborate with SRE, Cloud, and DevOps teams to enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
- Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and best practice enforcement across automation projects.
- Contribute to documentation, templates, standards, and governance models for automation at scale.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Ansible and broader automation tooling.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Advanced hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower/AWX.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, tooling, and module development.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and hands-on experience automating workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD,



or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and configuration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud automation.
- Solid grasp of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of Ansible with external systems (e.g., ServiceNow, monitoring tools, vaults).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent.




- Experience with Terraform, Vault, Prometheus, or other infrastructure tools.
- Prior experience in a lead or architect role in large-scale enterprise environments.
