Support HR Vice President and staff by performing a variety of duties including clerical, administration and record-keeping. Involves the handling sensitive employee and company information, which requires that they maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities Provides employee relations support through employee interaction and providing guidance on HR processes and procedures. Researching as needed to respond to employee inquires. Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies) Support the formatting and distribution department correspondence including formatting, mail merging, etc. examples include holiday scheduled, holiday bonus, process education assistance requests and payments. Letters,
power point presentations etc. Assist in the collection and preparation of department analytics. Entailing the collections and basic level analysis of the data to check for accuracy and general trends Examples headcount reporting, compiling system reports, Project managing assistance including identifying key mile stones, times and draft due dates. Examples Organizational Review and Talent Review preparation Coordinates roll-up of required Emerson process for multiple locations within the business unit as assigned, including headcount reporting and assists in organizational review preparation. Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department including; travel arrangements, distribution of mail, expense reports, preparation of presentations, ordering department supplies, maintain required postings on bulletin boards. Responsible to process payroll for HQ payroll weekly/semimonthly; maintain HRIS system accuracy including loading salary increases, bonus payouts and other relevant assignment data. Serve as company contact and program administrator for the global Service Award program. Primary lead for Elyria campus including annual service awards lunch. Back up new employee orientation by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies to foster positive good employee relations. Administer service functions such as Indians baseball including ticket distribution, catering and billing. Administer department invoices including setting up new vendors, processing monthly invoices providing proper budget coding. Maintain badge system including making new badges, troubleshooting problems. Manage monthly gym membership renewals and new membership enrollment. Manage employee condos including, guest scheduling, cleaning vendor, supplies and maintenance requests. Serves as a role model in working to foster a culture supportive of diversity and inclusion. Create and maintain trusting relationships with all stakeholders and work in collaboration with other departments Strive for improvement in HR processes by using automation & HR analytics Other duties as assigned. Proven ability to identify key issues and develop creative solutions and the ability to drive processes across the organization Must have demonstrated project management, communication and interpersonal skills Advanced level skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and execute quickly, as well as follow through on all requests with the appropriate communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Working knowledge of Oracle HRIS and Oracle HCM Cloud. Work Authorization No calls or agencies please.
