The Field Services Engineer is accountable to maintain a positive relationship with customers ensuring the project meets customer requirements while maintaining profitability for the organization. Managing multiple small to medium projects in electrical distribution with the field services team this person confirms customer bill of material, job site requirements, schedules resources and manages the job process from bid validation during planning, to order preparation, internal stakeholder coordination and final close out after project execution. To serve as an escalation contact for Field Service Technicians during project execution and problem solving. Technical support contact for Services Sales Representatives and Quotation team during RFI and RFQ phase. Interact with internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders. Support the development and implementation of customized solutions for customers electrical system. Ability to develop client relationships that foster potential growth opportunities. Ensure work is scheduled and proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders any deviation from plan. Monitor the execution of customers project order and ensure the proposed solution is being implemented. Anticipate deviations from plan and keep all parties in the project informed. Negotiate internal and external Change Orders with all parties. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of customer communications and actions taken. Monitor progress escalate any deviations to senior management and communicate with customer. Supports the closeout of projects and manage claims to and from customers and suppliers for demands, consideration, compensation or payment under the terms of a legally binding contract. This job might be for you if Diploma/degree with electrical background required Proven ability to manage customer project portfolio with preference for PMP training Minimum 5 years relevant experience working within the electrical industry Bilingual (French/English) an asset Good knowledge of electrical distribution products (low voltage and medium voltage) Advanced computer skills Windows, MS Office and MS Project. AutoCAD is an asset. Quick learner for new application software Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required Effective communication, facilitation and strong negotiations skills Strong customer orientation and teamwork approach Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
