The Role Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering the individual budget and supervise the financial performance versus budget for Southern Region
Work with the teams to deliver the segment wise corporate Budget for South India.
Collaborate and work with relationship managers and other stakeholders to deliver FM products.
Maximising the returns on FM products across the region of responsibility.
Roll out initiatives, involving design and implementation in areas such as new products, digitisation, standardisation of processes to name a few.
Adhere to compliance and processes, procedures governing the FM Sales role
People and Talent
Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values within the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives of direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives
Ensure full understanding of the risk and control environment in the sales team.
Adhere to regulatory framework in which the group operates
Ensure all global and local compliances are followed in the Region, such as fair pricing, record keeping etc
Regulatory and Business conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the groups values and code of conduct
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in, letter and spirit, all applicable laws, guidelines, and the group code of conduct,
Support the FM Sales Staff in the region to achieve the outcomes set out in the Banks Conduct Principles
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate , mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters .
