Job Description

Product Details:

Enterprise Supply Planning, which is part of Manufacturing Planning, is a Master Planning tool which recommends production, distribution and procurement plan based on forecast and customer orders. It also recommends incremental plan using quick What-Ifs based on supply chain events and exceptions.

Industries it is catering to are: Consumer Packaged Goods, Foods and Beverages, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare, Chemicals and Process, Appreal.


Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software requirements.

Creating high-level product specifications and design documents.

Providing the development team with architectural blueprints.

Guiding and working with the development team throughout the process.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design.

Ensuring that you and the team adhere to development schedules and deadlines.

Testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meets requirements.

Updating software solutions as required.

Desired Skills:

Basic knowledge in supply chain domain

Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage.

Understanding and experience with the technical requirements for the product line assigned.

Understanding of Database structures. Understanding of various technical platforms and infrastructures.

Understanding of unit test frameworks.

Understanding of cloud platforms, like Azure, GCP.

Required skills and experience:

At least 12 years of experience in software development using Java.

Strong experience in architectural patterns, design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems.

Experience on working in applications using web technologies (Angular/React), backend technologies (Java, Spring boot), API (REST), microservices.

Understanding of API gateways, API lifecycle management and Hands-on experience in building, designing and using web services, preferably REST APIs.

Understanding and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps Lifecyle and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes

Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural details to stakeholders at different levels (executive, technical and non-technical) through crisp documentation and white-boarding as required.

Experience working in an Agile environment and the ability to work in a constantly evolving project, without losing sight of the requirements or the overall vision.

Ability to work in a team of diverse/multiple stakeholders.

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Strong technical knowledge on Oracle SQL queries and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good verbal and communication skills
