The Role
As a Lead for Mumbai Execution Middle Office, you will be responsible to manage a team of 30 covering the following
Trade Support activities for APAC and EMEA region covering Securities, FX and Int Rate Derivatives, Money Market & Repos products
Benchmark submission controls, governance and reporting for APAC & EMEA region
Reference Data function for the above products
Settlement of Money Market products for APAC and EMEA region
Handle key reconciliation relating to trade support controls and work with other operations team to resolve post settlement nostro/custody breaks
Daily/Weekly/Monthly KPI reporting to Senior Management across APAC, EMEA & NA regions
Participate/Drive system and workflow changes impacting the business due to regulatory, market and technology driven strategic re-engineering programs
Drive operational efficiency and reduce Ops risk through automation initiatives
Key requirements
12-15 years Middle Office/Trade Support experience desired.
Experience working directly supporting a trading desk is ideal.
Cross product knowledge desired (particularly Fixed Income & Derivative products).
Able to manage multiple stakeholders across the regions including Finance, Technology, Risk, Audit and Control functions
Experience working in a diverse global environment with prior experience managing mid-size team of 30-40
Ability to strategise and implement Follow the Sun operating model for a cohesive global foot print and business resiliency
Attention to detail and numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving
Strong experience within a controls and operational risk management environment.
Able to work under pressure and multi task.
Strong literacy skills.
Able to present to senior management.
Ideal candidates will be well versed in some/all of the following Reuters, LCH, Anvil, Markitwire, and Bloomberg.
Prior Benchmark Submission & Control experience is a plus.
