We are hiring for the following specialties:





- Pathology Medical Coder (1-3 yrs)

- IVR Medical Coder (1-5 yrs)

- Radiology Medical Coder (1-3 yrs)

- Surgery Medical Coder (1-5 yrs)

- Emergency Department (ED) Medical Coder - Professional & Facility (1-4 yrs)

- IP-DRG (1-5 yrs)



- Oncology Coder (1+ yrs)

Required Experience and Qualifications





Qualifications: Life Science graduates, B.P.T, B.Pharm, B.Sc. Nursing





Experience:





1) Must have 1+ years of active Radiology/IVR/Pathology/Surgery/ED - Professional & Facility/Surgery/In-Patient/Oncology coding experience

2) Hands-on knowledge in coding HCPCS coding, CCI edits, LCD, NCD coverage determinations, etc.

3) Should have proficiency and hands-on expertise in PQRS measures

4) Must have proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT-4 code sets

5) Strong knowledge in Medical Terminology, Human Anatomy, and Physiology

6) ONLY FOR ED CODERS - Should have experience in ED professional and facility coding. Hands-on knowledge in level of service determination with emphasis on MDM, 1995 and 1997 documentation guidelines and should have proficiency in ED Guidelines, Audit sheet, Point calculations, etc

7) ONLY FOR RADIOLOGY CODERS - Should have handled different modalities &; have expertise in CT, MRI, X-ray, US, IVR, Dexa, NM, OB, CTA, MRA, duplex and Mammogram, etc.



8) ONLY FOR SURGERY CODERS - Should have handled different specialties like orthopedics, ENT, dermatology, and GI systems, etc., and must have strong experience in a musculoskeletal procedure like arthroscopies, podiatry procedures are preferred





Skills:





1) CPC or equivalent certification through the AAPC or AHIMA (preferred, not mandatory)

2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3) Organized and able to meet deadlines

4) Flexible to work in shifts (if required)

5) Understand business requirements and cooperate when needed
