FPGA Synthesis Tools Lead Job Description

This is an exciting leadership role in a new team in Intel India. The Custom-Logic Software Engineering (CSWE) team delivers cutting-edge software EDA tools for Intel FPGAs. The team is looking for strong software EDA engineering leads to join our team. The CSWE teams have the breadth of algorithm, software, and firmware expertise. FPGA Software Engineers research, design, develop, and optimize software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays. Develop and optimize compilers, flows, assemblers, models, tools and runtimes that are closely coupled to FPGA silicon, IP and boards, while leveraging strong knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design,

semiconductor devices and chip layout. Design, develop & optimize software abstractions and frameworks for acceleration with the FPGA, for domains such as deep learning, DSP algorithms, and data analytics. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.





Qualifications



You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an highly experienced level position and will be compensated accordingly. Minimum Requirements: The candidate must have a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years experience in: System Verilog, VHDL, FPGA, EDA Development, C . In depth knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog, FPGA design, and FPGA design software. Excellent programming skills (C, C , perl, python, tcl, etc.). Proactive, self-motivated and quick learner. Strong Leadership skills. Experience working with cross-site teams. Good team spirit and ability to deliver to schedule. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
