QA & Automation Expert for Next Generation Firmware Update Experience
You will work with a world class team on qualification and testing of the next generation infrastructure and lifecycle management portfolio of HPE products. What you will do: Work with value chain partners to understand product requirement and influence features, functionality and design to build debuggable, programmable and maintainable software and arrive at effective and efficient test strategies.
Define the goals for unit / functional /system/ performance /scalability testing and drive the teams towards achieving these goals.
Provide test leadership, define automation best practices and set high standards for the entire team to build consistent and maintainable tests
Mentor/coach development our engineers
Research, recommend and implement open source and other tools as needed to increase automation across the board with the view of optimizing & creating better test and release efficiencies.

Experience developing and testing entire systems, with capability to understand details and mixed technologies.

A creative thinker who can solve problems
You have a keen eye for detail and can identify functional corner/edge cases, timing issues, security loopholes, debug complex issues with performance, scaling.
Youve got A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 10 years of experience.
Extensive Experience in one or more of the following: Python
Selenium, Java/C development with make/gcc
JavaScript (JQuery/Angular)
Robo and any other automation framework tools
REST APIs, JSON/XML, micro services architecture
An understanding of datacenters, servers, storage and networking concepts
Expertise in designing test strategies for applications based on micro services architecture.
Working knowledge of CI/CD having had experience working with containers, Dockers, Kubernetes and other virtualization platforms
Experience in designing quality assurance and test processes for subsystems of end-user applications, systems software and firmware running on hardware that maybe local, networked and/or on internet- based platforms.
Experience in designing and determining test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Hands-on experience in design and development of automation framework and simulators
Exposure to white-box testing and the ability to read through product code, debugging issues, improving coverage and identifying missing scenarios is an advantage.
Good to know or eager to learn Statistical & quantitative analysis
Elastic Search, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, HIVE
Data extraction and cleansing techniques using batch and streaming pipelines
Some awareness of the challenges of working with large semi-structured data using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
