Global commercial operations (GCO) is part an of the Global Business Services and is the operating arm that supports AstraZeneca Global Marketing teams with quality, relevant and up to date Commercial Content, support marketing campaigns with Digital Multi-Channel Marketing capabilities,
Digital Multi-Channel Brand analytics and Global Meetings & Events. This helps in providing end to end content services across AZ, reducing time to market, consistency in brand messaging and save cost.
Global Meetings and Events service is focused on creating an enterprise-wide approach to meetings management logistics for all non-field led HCP and internal meetings, to facilitate end-to-end management of key planning milestones, as well as oversight for execution, compliance, and financial processes. To meet the objective, GME service team is to provide in-house delivery for registration websites, meeting apps, reporting, and the use of virtual cards.
The Reporting Specialist will develop service performance reports and analysis that supports key decision-making and driving improvement for the GME service. Reporting to the GME Operations Director, this role has responsibility to manage the day-to-day reporting activities to ensure the service is delivering on the effective and efficiency objectives. Initially the role will be focused on establishing a new service in the US, Australia, and global congresses team and then expand into optimizing the services. Other markets will be deployed in future waves.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities Specialist in any one of the BI Tools (SAP BO, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, etc...) with effective visualization skills
Solid understanding in Databases and T-SQL
Analyze and manage all reporting requirements to support both tactical and strategic decisions for service execution, customer experience, compliance, quality control, and operational optimization
Assess, prioritize, and communicate future reporting needs, functions, and strategies.
Investigate and troubleshoot reporting issues and problems
Generate and maintain control documentation of reporting procedures to ensure data integrity and efficiency
Establish reporting standards and criteria and maintain data and reporting integrity
Configure standard system reports, as well as customized reports as required
Pull and analyze relevant information from different sources including SAP, Concur, Cvent
Analyze reports and trends and based on findings, prepare and communicate results and recommendations
Ensure accuracy of all reported data by continually reviewing and analyzing current sources, processes, and systems functions
Maintain reporting schedule and document reporting procedures
Experience working in a globally distributed team.
Essential Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
4 to 6 years of experience in development using any reporting tool with ETL knowledge
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
Strong customer service focus
Preferred Pharmaceutical experience; or other highly-regulated environments
