Job Description:

BID.ai is hiring a Mobile App Developer Intern to join the mobile engineering team working on our AI-powered marketplace app where users can buy & sell recent, used, and refurbished products.

The mobile app integrates with backend services built on Node.js & PostgreSQL and uses Python automation to generate smart product details.

We are looking for driven individuals who want to build scalable production-level mobile apps and grow with a real-world team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop UI and components for the Bid.ai mobile app.
- Integrate APIs with backend (Node.js + PostgreSQL)
- Manage app performance, debugging and issue fixing
- Collaborate with designers and team for smooth integration
- Write clean, reusable and maintainable code following best practices
- Follow structured Git workflow & maintain clean, reusable code
- Take ownership and deliver tasks reliably within deadlines

✅Requirements

- Strong understanding of Kotlin (Android) development
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Node.js, Express and JSON handling with Retrofit or Ktor-client
- Familiarity with State management (LiveData/StateFlow)
- Understanding of application lifecycle & navigation architecture
- Database knowledge (PostgreSQL/ Firebase)




- Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills(Preferred):

- Experience with push notifications & device permissions
- Knowledge of MVVM Architecture
- Experience integrating third-party libraries (like Koin, Retrofit, KTOR-client etc.)
- Have worked previously with Payment Gateways (like Stripe, Razorpay etc.)
- Knowledge of basic python automation
- UI/UX understanding & pixel-perfect screen building

Work Mode:

- Remote during probation(initial period)
- On-site (Prayagraj office) after probation
