Role purpose

Lead complex/high-profile investigations; support sustainable controls; provide strategic intelligence and raise threat awareness across the bank.

Core accountabilities

Set risk-based scope; coordinate investigative activities; oversee investigators & transactional analysis; develop complex intelligence; manage approvals and responses; build typology-aligned threat profiles; fulfil POCA/TA obligations; own SLA performance; prioritise/allocate cases; provide MI/KRI; direct intelligence-led campaigns; stakeholder management; QC oversight; line-manage investigators.

Stakeholder engagement

Enable senior/key stakeholders (incl. SMR); advise leadership on cross-functional impact/alignment; maintain internal/external partnerships incl. peers in other institutions.

Technical/analytical expectations

Very robust analytical capability; set strategy and drive requirements; create solutions via sophisticated analytical thought; oversee complex alternatives; incorporate research into problem solving.
