SAP Basis Engineer

Lenovo is looking for an SAP Basis Engineer to support hybrid SAP environments by ensuring system stability, performance, and availability. This role involves day-to-day Basis operations, incident management, and support for upgrades and setting changes.

Key Responsibilities

- SAP Basis daily operations including monitoring, performance tuning, batch job scheduling, and system checks
- Incident resolution and technical support for Basis-related issues
- Support SAP upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
- Maintain SAP operational standards and documentation
- Contribute to knowledge base updates and automation initiatives
- Work effectively in a rotational shift / 24×7 support setup

Skills & Experience

- 1–7 years of hands-on SAP Basis administration
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, UNIX/Linux, and ServiceNow
- Understanding of hybrid and cloud-supported environments
- Strong teamwork and documentation skills

Qualifications

- SAP Basis Certification (C_TADM) — preferred
- ITIL Foundation — preferred
