Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior API Developer to join our dynamic team working on cutting-edge financial applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and hibernate, with a strong understanding of scalable and secure backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs for financial applications.
- Architect and implement microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
- Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of backend services.
- Optimize and refactor existing codebases for better performance and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Integrate with third-party services and financial data providers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Solid understanding of Hibernate and JPA for ORM.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker.
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in financial applications.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
