Senior Android Developer

Location: Bengaluru

Needed: Min 7 to 12 years of exp.

Must Have Skills: Android, Kotlin and Android SDK

Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK
- Deep understanding of Android architecture components (e.g., View Model, Live Data, Jetpack)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and popular libraries (Retrofit, Glide, etc.)
- Familiarity with MVVM or similar architecture patterns
- Solid experience with Git and version control best practices
- Experience with WebSocket or WebRTC
- Experience with media-related features on Android (audio/video playback, streaming)
- Solid understanding of Android-to-backend interactions, including:




- Network request lifecycle and error handling
- API versioning and contract management
- Authentication and session management (e.g., OAuth, tokens)
- Data synchronization and offline strategies
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with backend teams, including:
- Reviewing and discussing API specifications (OpenAI/Swagger)
- Providing feedback on API design for mobile friendliness
- Debugging end-to-end issues with tools like Charles Proxy, Postman, or Wireshark
