Role Overview:
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in AWS, CI/CD, containerization, and automation to join our high-performance technology team. You will contribute to designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS):
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, VPC, RDS, and S3.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable and repeatable deployments.
• Monitor performance and implement cost optimization strategies (e.g., Spot Instances).
2. Containerization & Orchestration:
• Build and manage Docker images and containers.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor applications on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Use Helm Charts for packaging and deployment consistency.
3. CI/CD Pipeline Automation:
• Set up and manage Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Improve deployment efficiency and reliability through continuous integration and delivery practices.
4. Monitoring, Logging & Security:
• Implement observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch for proactive monitoring.
• Set up centralized logging and alerting systems.
• Ensure best practices in IAM policies, network security, and compliance.
5. Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with Developers, QA, and Product teams for seamless deployment and delivery.
• Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, processes, and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Practical experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Good understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools.
• Scripting experience in Bash or Python for automation tasks.
Good to Have:
• Familiarity with Kafka or other event-driven systems.
• Experience of Helm for Kubernetes deployment management.
• Knowledge of AWS cost optimization practices (Spot Instances, Auto Scaling).
