Job description
Position : Manager Accounts & Finance for Hotel & Restaurant industry
Location : Guindy
Qualification : CA Inter ( Must )
Experience : Minimum 5 Years as a Manager Accounts & Finance
CTC : Maximum gross up to 9.20 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Oversee financial audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flow for budgeting and decision-making.
1. Accounts Management:
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and financial reporting.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including vendor management.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting transactions and general ledger reconciliation.
1. Taxation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax regulations, including GST and Income Tax.
- Filing of statutory returns, including TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and other regulatory filings.
- Liaise with government authorities and external auditors to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
1. Cost Management:
- Monitor company costs and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
- Oversee the costing and pricing of products/services.
1. Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed.
- Oversee treasury functions, including investments, loans, and working capital management.
1. Internal Controls:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance and risk management practices.
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance for skill development.
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of taxation laws, compliance regulations, and statutory filings.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in handling financial operations in a rapid-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Tamil Nadu state-specific tax laws and compliance.
