QA Engineer (Python + TestComplete) (Gurugram)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate QA Engineer with robust expertise in Python and TestComplete (Web Automation). The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, writing test scripts, and performing manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.

Key skills also include experience with Jira, BDD frameworks, API testing, and working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
· Automation Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable web automation frameworks using TestComplete with Python scripting.
· Test Script Development: Develop, execute, and debug automation test scripts for web applications using TestComplete.
· Manual Testing: Perform functional, exploratory, smoke, and regression testing manually when required.
· Cross-Browser Testing: Execute automated and manual test cases across browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
· Test Data Management: Prepare, manage, and maintain test data for automated and manual test cycles.
· Defect Reporting: Identify, document, track, and report defects using Jira .
· Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA teams,



and stakeholders to ensure testing objectives are met and quality standards are maintained.
· Regression Testing: Maintain and execute automated and manual regression suites to ensure application stability.
· CI/CD Integration: Integrate TestComplete automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Required Skills & Tools
Automation Tool: TestComplete (Web Automation)
Programming/Scripting Languages: Python (primary)
Testing Frameworks: PyTest or unittest
BDD Frameworks: Behave or similar (optional but preferred)
Manual Testing: Functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
Project Management & Defect Tools: Jira, Confluence
Version Control: Git, Bitbucket
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab
API Testing: Python Requests, Postman, or similar
Methodologies: Agile, Scrum

Additional Desired Skills
Performance Testing: Experience with tools like JMeter
Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure) preferred
Documentation: Ability to create detailed test cases, test plans, and KT documentation
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
