Tax Manager- Direct Tax (Bengaluru)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of direct taxation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure timely compliance with corporate tax obligations, including filing of returns, assessments, and TDS matters.

· Prepare submissions for scrutiny assessments, rectifications, stay applications, and appeals before Income-tax Authorities and Appellate Tribunal

· Represent clients before tax authorities and follow up on assessments, refunds, and stay orders.

· Provide advisory support on corporate tax laws, regulatory matters, and tax planning strategies.

· Prepare memos, presentations, and impact analysis on latest case laws and circulars.

· Coordinate with audit teams on tax provisioning and tax audit finalization.

· Lead and manage tax engagements, mentoring and developing junior team members.





· Stay updated with changes in tax regulations, attend trainings, and conduct technical research.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· CA or equivalent qualification;

· 5+ years’ of experience in direct taxation.

· Robust knowledge of Indian corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

· Experience in handling assessments, appeals, and tax advisory assignments.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple client engagements.

· Proficiency in MS Office.

· High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
