Full Stack Engineer (Mumbai)

Responsibilities: Feature Development (Frontend + Backend): Develop, test, and maintain features across the full stack, including user interfaces, APIs, and integrations.
API Development and Integration: Build and consume REST API, integrate third-party services, and ensure secure, performant communication between services.
Database Design and Queries: Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize data access patterns.
Code Quality and Standards: Write clean, readable, and maintainable code while following established coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Application Debugging and Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and fix defects across the stack (UI, API, database, configurations) in collaboration with senior engineers.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Closely collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features on time.
Testing and Documentation: Contribute to unit/integration testing, basic automation where applicable, and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
Performance and Security Awareness: Assist in improving application performance, scalability, and security under guidance from senior engineers.
Process Participation: Actively participate in sprint planning, estimations, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
No-Code/Low-Code Adoption: Be open to learning and using No-Code/Low-Code platforms (such as Xano , and similar tools) where appropriate, to accelerate delivery and build internal tools or rapid prototypes.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools in full stack development and low-code/no-code ecosystems.

Requirements:




Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent strong practical skills).
Programming Skills: Good proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar ) and familiarity with an MVC or modern backend framework.
Frontend Fundamentals: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and exposure to at least one contemporary frontend framework (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue ).
Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of relational databases ( MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server ) and familiarity with writing SQL queries; exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
Web & API Concepts: Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON , and basic web security concepts.
Tools and Version Control: Experience using Git and common development tools (IDEs, Postman, package managers, etc.).
No-Code/Low-Code Readiness: Strong willingness to learn and work with No-Code/Low-Code platforms (e.g., Xano, Bubble, WeWeb, etc. ) as part of the delivery toolkit.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong logical reasoning, debugging skills, and an eagerness to understand and solve real-world technical problems.
Communication and Collaboration: Ability to clearly communicate ideas, issues, and solutions, and to work effectively in a team-based, client-focused environment,ownership and proactiveness.
Learning Mindset: Self-motivated, organized, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks, with a continuous learning attitude towards new technologies and delivery practices.
Projects/Portfolio (Preferred): Internships, open-source contributions, hackathon projects, or personal applications deployed online (Git).
