Understanding (internal) Client landscape:

Understand and analyze business priorities skilling needs through regular monthly / quarterly discussion town hall meetings and reports from other talent teams (TD Forecasting report etc).

Identify talent implication based on these discussions & reports and translate them into skilling needs for the Business Units by Role.

Monitor the execution of the BU/SBU Talent Plans understand the BU/SBU reporting needs and identify customization required.

Analyze the standard reports and draw insights for the BU/SBU for action planning.

Keep oneself aware of the changing paradigm through reading research feedback and market analysis to ensure that the process design is in line with the best practices.

Understanding (external) Client landscape (Applicable for on site Consultants):

Understand business priorities skilling needs through monthly / quarterly discussion with clients.

Identify talent implication based on these discussions and translate them into skilling needs for the market / BU.

Keep oneself aware of the changing paradigm through reading research feedback and market analysis to ensure that the process design is in line with the best practices.

Training Needs Analysis:

Conduct skill planning initiatives in alignment with business needs.

Collaborate with Talent delivery business partners to gather training needs requirements.

Conduct training needs identification and other relevant diagnostics (eg Focus Group Discussions) to conduct detailed needs assessment.

Collate data from businesses and liaise with development teams to prepare the annual learning plan at a Account / BU / Geography Level covering all key Roles.

Participate in research and benchmarking to provide data to BU leadership team run focus group discussions surveys interviews to seek inputs on skills and competencies and provide inputs for enhancing the competencies in order to ensure alignment of developmental efforts.

Liaise with relevant target audience to map ad hoc learning needs.

Conduct Job task analysis competency analysis and behavioral analysis under the guidance of a Sr Consultant in order to identify the performance and skill gaps and build capability.


Provide inputs to the Solutions Design team to create proposal and receive sign off from BU stakeholders to finalize the plan for the skilling needs.

Define and agree with Business units the specific outcomes and measures for the skilling needs gathered for the BU by defining the short term (yearly goals) and long term outcomes of the initiatives.

Planning of training offerings:

Influence key decision makers in BUs to invest in building new capabilities aligned with business drivers.

Delivery Governance:

Participate in triad meetings with the Solutions and Implementation team to ensure the skilling programs' and interventions' solutions are on track.

Provide inputs on solutions and implementation plans keeping in mind the business interests.

Delivery Analysis:

Identify and analyze data on contractual business outcomes and human performance metrics and report back to business.

Stakeholder Management:

Identify and prioritize stakeholders.

Understand stakeholder expectations.

Plan for who needs to know what and when.

Manage expectations through tailored communication and engagement strategies.

Ensure there is minimal scope creep.

Project Management (Where applicable as a Project Lead):

Estimate and Arrive at a Project Plan for the design/development of solutions.

Monitor and manage the progress of the Project towards completion.

Identify and manage resources to work on the design / development (hardware/ software/ trainers).

Identify / manage risks and pro actively communicate risks and status to stakeholders.

Overall governance of the team with respect to design / development activities.

Collect and report feedback on training programs to relevant BU.

People Management:

Engage with team.

resolve / conflict management within team.

conduct internal trainings for developers within team.

Define the teams goals.

set performance expectations.

conduct appraisals.

set stretch targets and track performance against the same periodically.

Identify groom reward and develop high performers.

create training plans for team.
