Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions for Federal Certifications , like FIPS 140-2, Common Criteria, JITC, USGv6 for Data Center Switching and Routing products.
- Team member within the Data Center Manageability and Security group.
- Analyze requirements and derive solutions. Pro-actively own features from design to deployment.
- Review technical artifacts to meet industry standards.
- Participate in strategic and tactical product initiatives.
- Own and drive technical and functional improvements across products/applications.
- Quickly troubleshoot complex issues and provide practical solutions to customers on time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of product development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C, C++, Linux. Knowledge of Python and Go is a plus.
- In-depth experience in developing switching applications on multi-core, multi-threaded platforms.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing software related to Security.
- Prior experience in Federal Certification projects is a huge plus.
- Networking protocols like SCTP/TCP/IP, SSH, TLS/SSL, IPsec, MACsec, PKI, OCSP, RADIUS, TACACS+ .
- SCM tools like Git and Clearcase
Required Soft Skills:
- Ability to understand the big picture and deployment scenarios for a product.
- Ability to quickly and accurately respond to requests from customers and partners.
- Pro-actively contribute to make the team successful.
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication.
