Talaash Association is a national Human Rights organization dedicated to ensuring equality, legal, social & economic rights of women and children across India. The organization's vision is that it pledge-bound to work relentlessly toward establishing a society where every child and woman can live with dignity and their human rights are respected. The missions are; to strengthen partnership with Government, national-international development agencies (NGOs)/partners as well as corporate bodies to bring large-scale sustainable positive change in the situation of political, social, and economic vulnerability and to empower marginalized women and children (margin by socially, politically and economically).
The organization closely works with partners, where exists exploitation, social injustice, harassment against any child and woman. The organization works under the guidance of child Rights policies, the Juvenile Justice Act, policies of the state, and the Central Government of India.
About the internship/job:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Write press releases, articles, and success stories and pitch them to different journalists and publications 2. Write case studies 3. Promote Talaash association on social media

are available for full time (in-office) internship
have relevant skills and interests
can start the internship between 5th Feb'21 and 12th Mar'21
are available for duration of 6 months
have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
are from Bangalore and neighboring cities

Other than developing a thorough understanding of the media landscape and how to build relationships with them to grow a brand, this internship will also teach you how to write effectively and engagingly that can hold a reader's attention. You will also learn a lot about how a business works.
