Position Summary:
Responsible for fixed assets, including but not limited to, SAP fixed asset transactions, reconciliations between fixed asset system and general ledger, and compliance with internal and business controls
Job Description:
Tasks and responsibilities of the position:
- Creation of Capital projects in SAP
- Perform Project closure activities and Asset capitalization
- Record Fixed asset retirements, sales, transfers, accelerated depreciation.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports for IGAAP Fixed Asset register and Physical Verification of Asset
- Assist in preparing monthly Capex reports
- Perform Blackline reconciliations every month with accurate supporting document
- Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger every quarter
- Resolve all queries received in generic mailbox within TAT
- Assist in preparing VAT reports
- Support with additional/ adhoc responsibilities as per organizations requirement as and when required
- Coordinate requirements of Tax, Treasury & Manufacturing for information requirements from fixed asset and project system module.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with legal/tax regulations and corporate policy with respect to capitalization and purchase of fixed assets.

Ensuring Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly book close in compliance with Company policies, standards and maintain highest accuracy

Basic Qualifications:
- B.Com / M. Com
