Wealth Management - Investment Product Middle Office - Team Leader

The Investment Products Middle Office team supports the JPM GWM Investor Community - Bankers, Investors, Financial Advisors, Client Service, and Marketing teams by servicing the brokerage product trade flows and operations their clients invest in. The team also provides support for various functions across the GWM Middle Office, JPMS and to operations teams as well as the International Private Bank.

The Trade Support Associate is responsible for various processes within the life cycle of a Alternative Investment products. The Associate will be expected to work in a team environment supporting a variety of other areas within the firm such as Fund Administrators, Investor Support, Marketing team, Bankers, Supervisory Management, Client Service, and Operations. The space has a high degree of complexity and risk with market presence in over 40 countries with varying rules/requirements that make every transaction critical due to the potential financial exposure. The successful candidate will be required to quickly learn, understand and support as needed, the functions and services provided by the middle office team.

Core Responsibilities

Timely and accurate execution, validation, and verification of all instructions (for alternative products) received from internal partners and global teams

Support of multiple product types (e.g. equities, fixed income, private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds) for both Domestic and International markets

Review, Monitor and Action against daily fail reports and daily break items

Process and assure completeness of all requests

Prioritize workloads with daily and hourly deadlines

Respond promptly and accurately to Investor support, Marketing, Fund Admins, trade desk, operations and client service requests

Produce high quality performance and accuracy to best meet our client's needs and expectations

Drive continuous improvement efforts, while reducing risk across all manual touch-points

Ensure adherence to all service level commitments, process controls, and escalation policies

Work closely with teammates to maximize efficiency

Proactively focus on issues and adjust rapidly to changes in the team, the market, or Wealth Mgmt to deliver sound recommendations for process improvement

Assist and or lead projects within the team

Ensure the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquirie

Participate in Wealth Mgmt initiatives (e.g. systems conversions, automations)

Key Skill Sets

- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented, and strong interpersonal skills

- Able to work independently with minimum supervision

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Assume ownership and responsibility to accomplish goals

- Strong intellectual capacity for process improvements

- Preferred experienced with new age tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Xceptor etc.
