Reference Data Operations is aligned to Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)

LOB which is responsible for improving the quality, integrity and reliability of the firm's critical data. The role of the Instrument Operations Team is to provide support around the operations BAU processes as well the technology programs to ensure that high quality instrument data is available to downstream users.

Roles & Responsibilities -

- Manage end to end new process onboarding onto a new platform independently

- Perform supervisory checks for maintenance of Instrument Reference Data in multiple applications

- Should be hands on with process and systems, provide BAU support, conduct proactive verification checks to ensure processing meets the expected quality, partner on Data Quality initiatives

- Monitor Requests & Exception Queue to allocate work among the team

- Prioritize & manage project request in conjunction with BAU.

- Prepare weekly performance metrics and capacity analysis

- Ensure timely updates of SOPs, Issue Logs, Conduct "Best Practice Sharing Sessions"

- Conduct Weekly Team Meeting (across all ops hubs) for regular communication, eliciting issues, etc.

- Manage Global business partners expectations - Interact / Communicate with business partners across locations/ time zone at operating level on a regular basis.

- Ensure to have BCP strategy is in place, keep it updated and perform Business Continuity Test

- Partner and coordinate with OCM for error review and defining the corrective actions

- Ensure to have strong process documentation to support the Audit requirements

- Handle various Process Audits with aim to get the Green/ Satisfactory rating

- Support end to end testing of process/ systems, conduct execution of UAT as part of Change Mgmt.

- Drive & Partner with Ops change group on Business Development Initiatives and change requests

Skills/ Eligibility -

- College Degree preferably in Banking & Financial domain

- 8+ years of experience in BFSI with expertise on Loan Products / Securities Processing operations

- Knowledge of Loans and Private Instruments such as Private Equity, Fund Of Funds etc. is a must

- Knowledge of Arcesium Platform, preferably in Securities Master Domain will be desirable

- Knowledge of vendor products/ Ref Data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, iHS Markit, etc.

- Should be proactive with self-motivation skill for independent process ownership & accountability

- Client focused and able to deliver on complex tasks with hands on approach and attention to detail

- Good people mgmt. skills with ability to drive initiatives in the team and can motivate/ steer the team in the right direction with high energy levels

- Good Change/Transition Mgmt., Time Mgmt., prioritization & Leadership skills to deliver high results
