Localization Project Management Team Lead (Rajahmundry)

Full time/ Remote in India/ Working hours: 10 am-7 pm (local time) with some flexibility

The Project Manager Team Lead is responsible for managing, developing, and growing their team, overseeing special initiatives, high-level client communication, forecasting oversight, and ensuring optimal delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop a team of project managers and senior project managers (around 2 direct reports)
- Have top-line visibility on the overall status of projects through regular communication with their direct reports
- Act as a key escalation point of contact in the Asian time zone for any client-driven or internal issues, ensuring support for the team towards proactively anticipating roadblocks, identifying potential areas of escalation ahead of time, and ensuring timely resolution
- Drive relationship building and improvement initiatives at the direct client management level
- Drive forecasting discussions with the direct client at the managerial level,



process and communicate the impact of the received information
- Ability for hands-on guidance and mentorship for the team on production issues as they arise
- Manage the provision of business intelligence, quality & productivity metrics customized to clients' needs
- Oversee special initiatives, ensuring involvement and mentorship of Senior Project Managers
- Participate in client meetings, business review meetings etc.

Requirements

- Degree or Master's in Translation, Business, or a relevant field
- Fluent English, any other languages are an advantage
- 7+ years of experience in Localisation and Translation industry
- 4+ years of experience managing a team
- Experience in a variety of verticals
- Multimedia localization experience (A plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solver
- Strategic thinker
