We’re building a construction tech product which is computer vision–based material quantity estimation system for industrial bins. The product is already live in beta, and we’re now improving accuracy and robustness.
What You’ll Do
- Train & fine-tune YOLO-based detection models (bin walls, material boundaries)
- Implement instance segmentation for accurate material surface detection
- Improve depth, height, and volume estimation from single-view images
- Handle real-world edge cases: occlusions, shadows, missing walls
- Apply projective geometry, homography, vanishing points, and camera calibration
Required Skills
- Strong experience with YOLO / object detection
- Solid Python skills (OpenCV, NumPy)
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Understanding of 3D geometry & single-view metrology
- Backend or deployment experience
- Mobile camera optimization
