THIS IS A 12 MONTHS CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER.

Location: Pune (Hybrid)

Shift: General Shift (IST hours)

Experience: 5–7 years overall, 5+ years relevant experience

Responsibilities

- Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing REST API services.
- Design and implement reusable and modular components that fit into existing applications and services.
- Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear solution for each piece.
- Handle customer support and fix bugs, build solutions based on priority.
- Passion for developing robust software by writing testable and maintainable code.
- Leverage analytics to measure performance and monitor availability.
- Work collaboratively in Agile environment to achieve team goals.

Minimum Qualifications

- 2+ years' experience with C# and .NET Core




- 1+ years of hands-on experience with REST API development using ASP.NET Core Web API
- 1+ years experience with consuming and developing/maintaining REST APIs including monitoring and analytics
- Proficient in using .NET HttpClient for making HTTP requests and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge and experience with Docker and containerized microservices environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and other primary AWS services
- Experience with at least one major server-side application framework
- Experience working on multi-threading and concurrency
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub for source control and code review workflows
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years' software development experience
- Experience with .NET 6 onwards
- Experience with managing complex transitive .NET dependency version conflicts
- Cloud security/security development life cycle
- Development experience on Mac environment preferred
- Experience with using AI tools (Cursor/Github Copilot and prompt engineering) preferred
- Experience with Jenkins CI and Spinnaker pipelines preferred
- Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace preferred
- Understand, embrace and promote Agile methodologies, principles and values
