We are looking for an SAP FICO Functional Architect (Asset Accounting + Finance authority) for a major SAP rollout programme for one of our clients.

Role Overview

- Position: SAP FICO Functional Architect (Asset Accounting + Finance authority)
- Contract: 12 months (rolling)
- Location: Fully Remote (India-based)
- Programme: Large-scale global SAP implementation
- Rate – Upto INR 35K/Day (10% TDS Deduction included)

As an SAP FICO Functional Architect (Asset Accounting + Finance authority), you would play a lead role across the full project lifecycle, with a robust focus on Asset Accounting (FI-AA) as part of the broader Finance workstream.

SAP S/4HANA FICO – Asset Accounting (Global Rollout) - Functional Role & Responsibilities

- Lead SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting design for global migration and rollout programmes.




- Define and configure asset classification and asset master structures aligned to global finance standards
- Manage asset acquisition and capitalization processes, integrating MM and CO during S/4HANA migration
- Configure and control depreciation areas, keys, and useful life, supporting parallel valuation and group reporting
- Oversee asset lifecycle events, including transfers, AuC management, and period-end close activities
- Design and execute asset disposal processes, ensuring accurate gain/loss postings and global compliance

Education:

- Degree of Charted Accounted is a must.
- CA / ACCA / equivalent hard finance grounding
