The Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise to demonstrate how PPCs product offerings create solutions that meet or exceed our customers requirements.
1.Develops product positioning and messaging that differentiates PPC product and conveys its value proposition.
2.Conducts and manages client and market research on buying criteria, product preference, and perceptions.
3.Act as local technical pointof contact for partners and customers.
4.Conduct and manage research on message effectiveness.
5.Evaluate competitive and alternative offerings to identify differentiators and to create a value wedge for PPC.
6.Work with Product Marketing team to solidify product core messages and guide the structuring and packaging of core messages into highly compelling client facing presentations and collateral.
7.Work with Curriculum Development Manager to educate the sales team in the value proposition of our products and in the use of the sales tools and collateral that support the selling process.
8.Create and produce pitch stories to address highly strategic sales situations.
9.Capture sales feedback on what works and doesn't work, and uses that feedback to continuously improve the base of knowledge.
10.Provide reporting on customer and competitor activities to management.
11.Participate in channel trade shows, seminars and industry events.
Required Skills and Experience
Qualification: BE/BTech (Electronics & Communications)
Experience- 10-12 Years with 5-6 years min in the specific Broadband & FTTH market
Experience in Broadband FTTH/X network designing
Hands On experience & Commissioning/technical knowledge of FTTH Actives like OLT, ONT, EDFA, etc
Hands On experience & Commissioning/technical knowledge of FTTH Passives like Pigtails, Patch Chords, Optical Splitters/Couplors,FDB, FODP, Termination Boxes, Splicing, etc
