Job Summary

The Manager, Business Ops works closely with the Site Leadership team and enables them to manage their business operations and their performance levels effectively, drive site wide initiatives to deliver on goals and objectives, and provide effective business support. The Manager defines and delivers business operations reports and supports implementation of several cross-functional and site-level initiatives, working with various stakeholder groups across levels. In this key enablement role, the Manager demonstrates a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play a pro-active enablement role.

The Manager is highly resourceful with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, integrity and a willingness to put the company’s interest first.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Business Performance – Structure and execute on several cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with other enablement functions such as Internal Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Learning and Development, etc. Work with global leaders and line managers to identify ways to optimize business processes and drive automation initiatives to deliver significant cost and operational efficiencies. Drive execution of various business performance and operations initiatives with minimal guidance and supervision.

Governance, Reporting and Analytics – Guides the definition and measurement of several business and financial impact metrics for each of the functions globally. Enable the business leaders with timely analysis and actionable insights to help them drive performance improvements/corrections. Defines and Manage an escalation mechanism to drive timely corrective action and issue resolution across business functions.

Program Management - Works closely with the global and site leadership team in scoping operational and site level performance improvement initiatives. Once scoped, leads the creation of implementation plan and drive these initiatives in the form of projects to deliver value in a time bound manner. Work with various business stakeholders and leaders to provide support and handle issues and roadblocks on these projects. Help to cross-pollinate best practices across the organization.

Reports to: Sr. Manager or above

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent

Ten to Twelve years experience in Business Operations, Performance Improvement, and/or Consulting (internal or external)

Preferred Experience

Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant field

Program and / or Project Management experience.

Experience in the credit card and/or marketing domain

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (Required)


Work Experience

Ten or more years
