Our team is looking for senior candidate with Application support/DevOps background to be part of our global team. We support over 80 applications with wide variety of technologies and platform. It includes Linux/Windows based to cloud based application. Ours is ever evolving tech environment and we look to have candidate with positive outlook and willingness to learn new skills.
Partner with development team on setting up application infrastructure and ongoing deployment
Provide 24/7 application support and monitoring
Application incident management and co-ordinate with relevant teams for RCA
Focus on area for automation to reduce manual task.
Assist development team in resolving issues raised by end users.
Weekend support on rotation and early shift hours, 7 AM IST
Proficient with Unix/Linux, Windows environment, and its internal working.
Exposure to end to end application setup including administration of web server, application server, setting up load balancer, connection with database, storage (SAN/NAS)
Good knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase.
Exposure and understanding of cloud environment. Setting and running applications from cloud setup.
Understanding and experience of setting up SR/DR infrastructure for applications.
Experienced with application monitoring, and setting up relevant alerts.
Incident management and following up on good quality RCA
Exposure to scheduling tools like Autosys, ControlM
Exposure to ticket tracking tools and understanding of SLA
Be able to do basic scripts with shell script/python/PowerShell
Should have good analytical and problem solving skills.
Attention to details and be able to prioritize tasks based on criticality
Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
