Position Title: Support System & Indirect Materials Level: Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager

Department: Group Materials

Reporting to: President, GCEO Office

Company Location: Gurgaon

Educational Qualification: B. Tech is must

Experience (in years): 5+ years of experience in Sourcing function

Nature of Experience:

Candidates must have exposure to sourcing function, indirect materials, vendor evaluation, supplier management, rate negotiation, process improvement etc.

Age (in years) : 30~35 years

Role and Responsibilities :


Cost Saving/ Cost reduction

Should have knowledge about the indirect material purchasing & cost saving in material

Cost Savings-Material cost reduction through various initiatives. Alternate sourcing, Localization, Bulk Buying etc.

Track overall commodity trends, identify opportunity and support to carry out negotiation and reduce cost of the respective commodities.

Top Commodities Strategic Sourcing

Should have commodities knowledge, Negotiations & Implementations.

Supplier Optimization & Control

Suppliers Optimizations-Suppliers eliminations and Suppliers addition controls

Identifying and developing potential vendors for the right sourcing; achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials

Regularly oversee quality of selected vendors for Indirect materials.

Data Analysis

Should be very good into data analysis


Indirect Commodities Sourcing Strategy

Handling All Indirect Materials sourcing strategy




Logistics & Ware Housing Management

Logistics & Ware Housing Management-Domestic, Import & Exports, Air Freights, FREIGHT Forwarding, BG Transport Services Etc.

Sourcing MIS for Indirect Materials

Collate and map information related to Indirect materials across group and support Head Group Materials in defining the sourcing strategy for the Group

Keep up-to-date information on technology, market events, new products, new standards, revised standardization guidelines, etc. for procurement of items being handled by self

Systems & Processes

Map the lags in systems & processes in the sourcing function across Group and support Head Group Materials to define the norms for standardization

Identify opportunities of digitization to reduce manual intervention and instill effectiveness
