This role will require extensive experience in Test strategies, regression and performance test of enterprise applications. Also serves as liaison between Applications and Business Relationship Management (BRM) leaders and HPE IT Suppliers and partners to drive business alignment, performance attainment and issue resolution. This role will assess the health of assigned application portfolio, manage SLA, and propose contract extensions/adjustments. Experience translating the testing outcome at application and business process level and ability to translate key messages to the IT and business community. This role should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and excellent coordination skills.







Responsibilities



Single point of contact as Test Architect to define the path for all testing related activities with work stream/app/ sub-work stream leads

Facilitates alignment of IT and Business at release level

Define the strategy, approach for automated Regression, Load and Performance Testing at organizational level

Ensuring the applications in data center move groups are regression and performance tested and ready for cutover

Leading the path to define performance metrics for enterprise wide critical applications

Partner with Project, Operations and business teams to identify the test scenarios, interfaces, integrating Apps, batch jobs along with forecasted volume which will be part of the regression, load and performance test

Coordinate on the readiness to execute performance testing, the scenarios, the scripts, environment (Software and Hardware), teams required, etc.

Leading test strategies according to changing organization needs, and enable continuous testing

Defining the regression test strategy, prioritization based on the organizational needs

Develop detail test plan, and execute with focus on the outcome and end goals

Determine and prepare data required considering multiple upstream and downstream systems. For example, user count, session definition, session duration, weighted distribution of transactions.

Determine data and data refresh requirements; data for a typical business day will be collected to simulate a normal days processing of online transactions and batch programs to capture statistics and identify potential performance bottlenecks based on the transactions and batch programs executed during a normal business day.

Develop and automate scripts to be used for many iterations during cycles of testing

Plan load and performance test runs activities end to end on S/4 HANA landscape and integrated applications

Work with the System Integrators and IT Support teams to develop and maintain scripts and run the regression and load test

Management of enterprise level testing tools, test management, test automation, performance testing, remote execution, hand held devices and act as technical SME

Proactively search for symptoms and patterns and provides recommendations or solutions

Work with different technical teams, consolidate the information, and report test results with all the platform layers

Ensures the successful installation, integration, and deployment of products in various environments while maintaining quality and superior end user satisfaction

Working with HPE leaders, this role will work to ensure HPE and vendors are meeting SLAs

Establishes and maintains relationships with Applications leaders and BRMs within their area of responsibilities

Validation of the release package that includes regression and Load & Performance test and executive level reporting

Coordination with internal stakeholders and System Integrators





Education and Experience



Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP environment

Minimum 10 experience with the Testing, Test Management, Service transition processes and implementation

SAP S4, BPCA, TBOM, Solution Manager experience

Tricentis TOSCA, NeoLoad, Remote Execution, Performance Center, Load runner, Spira, Flood IO

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; ability to communicate with individuals of all levels (technical and non-technical) and ability to break the organization silos.

This role will require weekend and after hours availability

Cloud and Datacenter migration experience

Ability to work with large extended teams distributed globally





Knowledge and Skills



10 or more years of experience in IT that includes development, release deployment, testing tools and end-to-end multiple full release cycles.

ITIL certification preferred

SAP S4, Hybris, UX focused enterprise portals experience preferred

Multiple language coding (C#, Java script, VB, selenium) ability, Web services, APIs

Understanding of the application monitoring tools, Ex: New Relic

Cloud or Datacenter migration experience preferred

Tricentis TOSCA, NeoLoad, Remote Execution, Performance Center, Load runner, Spira, Flood IO

General Technical Project Management. Customer/ Vendor Management. Business Analysis

Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills
