Your Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

Designing and implementing web based platforms for resiliency workbench.

Understanding application environment footprint, re-platforming and preparing them for chaos/resiliency exercise.

Using tools like Terraform to automate environment orchestration.

You will work closely with engineering/development teams to design, build, and maintain systems and help them decide on products to use, schema design and query tuning.

You will troubleshoot issues across the entire stack:

hardware, software, application and network.

You will identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for resiliency; scope and create automation for deployment, management of environments and executing chaos experiments.


Background in Computer Science equivalent to a B.Sc. Equivalent practical experience(5-7 years) is a reasonable substitute.

Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithm complexities and Distribute Software Design Patterns

Good understanding of Unix and Linux operating system level concepts

Experience in software development using Python/Go & bash for scripting.

Hands-on experience with web UI designing and development using Angular.

Any experience on automation/configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, Ansible is an advantage.

Experience with source code and binary repositories, build tools, and CI/CD (Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker) etc and data streaming technologies like Spark, Kafka etc.

Hands on experience with Cloud tools such as HashiCorps Terraform, Consul, Vagrant and monitoring using ELK, Prometheus Grafana.

Awareness of, and ability to reason about modern software & systems architectures, including load-balancing, queueing, caching, distributed systems, micro services, and so on.

Operating system level concepts awareness such as processes, memory allocation, and the network stack

Practical experience/exposure to designing large scale online systems is always an advantage.
