Job Description

This position is for a Tier3 Network Analyst who will work in a 7x24 network operations center monitoring and managing WAN, LAN and VOIP/IPT networks for Domestic and international clients. Hours must be flexible and may be rotational as determined by the needs of the business.

This position requires that the analyst be able to dynamically multitask on diverse issues and work with customers in a fast pace SLA driven environment; Engage equipment and service vendors that support network operations; Interface with client by responding to client requests and notifying them of network problems and the impact on customers business; Interface with vendors as needed on clients behalf to resolve network issues.

The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable Data-Networking knowledge and experience to include Brocade, Cisco, Edgewater, Juniper, F5, Riverbed, TCP/IP, and Circuit troubleshooting. This is an absolute requirement for this position.

Software Integration Team (SI) Team, will work in concert with all GT3 Service Lines globally, to insure all customer requests are met with zero to no defects deploy & maintain AT&T; Certified IOS code-levels.

Software Integration Team skills:

o Address vendor alerts (ie, Cisco, Juniper, etc.) for known S/W bugs, H/W defects, PSIRTS and vulnerabilities.

o Understand how to proactive bring platforms up to the latest ATT Labs approved code and know how to target these upgrades by service line or specific customers.

o Perform reactive upgrades during outages.

o work with the hardware vendors and Labs if required.

o Based on any new bugs encountered, we will issue an IOS Brief to LABS, SD and Operations detailing the IOS bug, circumvention and permanent fix.

o launch a proactive refresh as appropriate.

Required skills:

o Software Defined Networks- Including D2 elements suchs as SDWAN, UCPE, ADI W/B

o Network Function Virtualization

o Advanced WAN troubleshooting/problem determination.

(Frame Relay, ISDN, ATM, and Private Line)

o LAN troubleshooting/problem determination.

(Ethernet, VTP, Token Ring, HSRP)

o Advanced knowledge of Cisco, Edgewater, Juniper, F5, Riverbed troubleshooting/problem

determination and maintenance.

o Excellent understanding of routing and routing protocols.

(EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)

o Advanced understanding of TCP/IP.

o Unix user skills.

o Upgrades

o Bug Fixes

o Remediation


Desired Skills:

MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) experience.

VPN (Virtual Private Network) experience.

VOIP (Voice over IP)

IPT/Call Manager/Unity
