Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform forging, shaping, cutting, and finishing of metal components using hand tools and machines.
Repair, fabricate, and install metal structures, grills, gates, railings, and other iron works as required.
Operate blacksmith tools such as hammers, anvils, furnaces, welding and cutting equipment safely.
Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure proper heat treatment and metal finishing for durability and quality.
Follow workplace safety rules and use protective equipment at all times.




Coordinate with supervisors for work requirements and deadlines.
Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs related to metal work.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Black Smith
Knowledge of iron, steel, and other metal materials.
Skilled in welding, cutting, forging, and fitting work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials.
Basic understanding of safety practices and tool handling.
Diploma/ ITI / Trade Certificate in Black Smithing or relevant field (preferred but not mandatory)
