About the Role
Zoo Media is looking for a strategic, insight-driven Planning & Strategy Manager to join our onsite team in Worli, Mumbai. This role will be responsible for shaping brand and communication strategies that drive meaningful business outcomes. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to decode complex business challenges, lead research initiatives, and translate insights into clear, inspiring strategic directions and creative briefs. This role requires strong storytelling, leadership, and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic partner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, account management, and leadership to deliver integrated solutions.
Design and lead robust research methodologies, oversee qualitative and quantitative research, and convert insights into actionable strategies.
Identify and unlock unique opportunities by navigating complex client business challenges.
Develop clear, compelling strategic outputs including presentations, communication narratives, and creative briefs.




Present well-structured strategic perspectives confidently, while constructively and respectfully challenging client assumptions.
Anticipate future brand and business challenges and articulate a clear creative and brand vision.
Identify critical focus areas for teams and clients, providing clarity and direction to help creative teams move past roadblocks.
Own projects end-to-end, proactively troubleshooting issues and ensuring high-quality delivery through collaboration.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
Proven experience in brand strategy, communication planning, or integrated marketing strategy.
Excellent research and insight-generation capabilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.

Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire cross-functional teams.
