Role Overview The Customer Data Platform (CDP) Specialist plays a critical role in executing and managing audiences and customer journeys within the CDP ecosystem. This position directly supports Digital Marketing initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
The ideal candidate has a solid ability to translate marketing requirements into data-driven audience strategies, analyze large customer datasets, and operationalize insights into scalable, compliant, and impactful marketing experiences. We are seeking a professional who can join promptly or is currently serving a notice period .
CDP work requires strong SQL expertise to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable, data-driven outputs. Therefore, Data Analysis remains a core skillset for this role.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with analytical rigor, while ensuring data quality, governance, and business objectives are consistently met.

Required Skills & Competencies Proficiency in SQL / query languages (mandatory) for data analysis, segmentation, and validation
Strong working knowledge of Excel , including data manipulation and analysis
Basic to intermediate understanding of marketing data, customer data models, and marketing technologies
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
Strategic mindset with the ability to align CDP capabilities to business objectives
Excellent verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, product,



and engineering teams
High attention to detail, with a strong focus on compliance, standards, and data accuracy
Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis, Governance & Hygiene Analyze customer data using SQL and Excel to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights
Support data quality and governance initiatives, ensuring data completeness, consistency, and compliance
Perform data validation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new audience builds and integrations
Audience Management & Activation Design, build, and manage campaign audiences within the CDP
Configure and execute audience journeys aligned with marketing goals
Review audience logic and journeys with stakeholders and activate them across relevant marketing channels

Business Partnership Partner with marketing stakeholders to support requirement-gathering workshops for omni-channel customer engagement strategies
Act as a bridge between business, marketing, and technology teams to translate campaign objectives into actionable data requirements
Guide them through different Data arrangements and finalise a list of customers contributing a behavior.





Build to Scale & Innovation Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to define integration requirements using clear user stories, roadmaps, and implementation plans
Support the development of scalable data pipelines and integration endpoints
Build proofs of concept (POCs) for current tools, platforms, and technologies in partnership with technology teams

Qualifications 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing campaigns, marketing analytics, or data strategy
Hands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform (e.g., ActionIQ, Salesforce CDP, Adobe CDP, or similar) is a strong plus
Technical understanding of Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, SFMC, etc.), Salesforce CRM, and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook) is desirable
Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines
A passion for metrics and performance measurement — you are driven by data and insights
