JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE EXPECTATIONS :

1. PROJECT EXECUTION AND DELIVERY
● Own end-to-end execution and delivery of multiple software projects
● Drive projects from requirements and design through development, testing, and production
release
● Ensure commitments on scope, timelines, and quality are met
● Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs proactively
● Act as the final technical decision-maker for delivery-related matters

2. TEAM LEADERSHIP AND MENTORSHIP
● Mentor frontend and backend developers across Angular and React stacks
● Guide Node.js backend teams and ensure database best practices with MySQL
● Conduct regular architecture, code, and design reviews
● Build a strong engineering culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement

3. TECHNICAL AND ARCHITECTURE OVERSIGHT
● Review and approve application architecture and system designs
● Ensure backend APIs are scalable, secure, and well-documented
● Maintain consistency in design patterns, coding standards, and tech choices
● Ensure systems are production-ready and maintainable

4. DevOps & CI/CD OVERSIGHTS




● Oversee execution of DevOps activities including:
○ CI/CD pipelines
○ Build, deployment, and rollback processes
○ Workplace setup and configuration
● Ensure smooth coordination between development and DevOps teams
● Review release readiness and post-deployment stability

5. QA& QUALITY ASSURANCE OVERSIGHT
● Oversee QA teams and testing strategies
● Ensure adequate test coverage (manual and automation)
● Drive bug triage, prioritization, and closure
● Enforce quality gates before every production release

QUALIFICATIONS :
● 8–10 years of experience in software development and delivery
● Proven experience executing and delivering multiple production-grade projects
● Strong technical background in:
○ Angular, React, Node.js & Relational Databases
● Experience managing DevOps execution and CI/CD pipelines
● Experience overseeing QA teams and release quality
● Ability to make sound technical decisions under delivery pressure
● Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills
