After chasing brokers, navigating fake listings, and locking up lakhs in deposits, most renters settle because the system leaves them no real choice. Helium is rebuilding rentals in India from the ground up with a discovery platform of exclusive, gated homes that are actually available and require just a one month deposit. Under the hood, we run two fintech products, a rent guarantee for homeowners and a credit led deposit solution for tenants.
We are backed by founders and operators from Blinkit, CRED, Zomato, and Stanza Living.
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-ownership, sharp, and execution-oriented Growth Lead (Founder’s Office) to work closely with the founders across critical, zero-to-one initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, fintech, operations, and strategy, and will involve owning cross-functional projects end-to-end.
You will act as a force-multiplier for the founders to drive initiatives that shape Helium’s product, go-to-market strategy, unit economics, and operational backbone as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the founders on high-priority, cross-functional projects that cut across product, growth, fintech, operations, and strategy.
Own and drive initiatives related to Helium’s consumer and homeowner product journeys, working with product, design, and tech teams to improve experience and conversion.
Execute growth projects across both supply and demand, including GTM experiments, channel strategy, funnel optimisation, and performance analysis.
Work on Helium’s fintech stack, including structuring, launching, and scaling credit-led products and managing partnerships with NBFCs and financial institutions.
Support business and P&L; analysis across pricing, margins, unit economics, and capital efficiency to enable data-backed founder decision-making.
Help build and scale internal infrastructure across cataloguing, onboarding, contracts, payments, ops workflows, and reporting systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier-1 institution (IITs, IIMs, ISB, SRCC, etc.) or prior experience in top-tier consulting
1–2 years of experience in a Founder’s Office/ Generalist/ Strategy/Consulting, or Growth role at a startup
Strong understanding of product thinking, business models, and P&L; mechanics.
Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and execution skills.
Ability to work in ambiguity, take ownership, and drive projects independently.
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with senior stakeholders.
Startup mindset i.e. bias for action, comfort with quick iteration, and willingness to get hands-on.
