Job Title: Backend Automation Engineer (AI / LLM Focus)

About the Role
We are looking for a Backend-focused Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation frameworks, API testing, and AI/LLM-driven systems . This role requires someone who understands system behavior deeply, can design robust automated solutions, and is comfortable working in complex backend environments.
What You’ll Do
Own quality for AI / LLM-powered features across releases
Test LLM outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and edge cases
Validate prompt-based workflows and basic multi-step flows
Test APIs, backend services, and end-to-end user journeys
Perform regression, exploratory, and release testing
Collaborate closely with engineering and product to improve reliability
Write clear,
actionable bug reports with examples and expected behavior
What We’re Looking For
3–6 years of QA experience in web or backend systems
Exposure to AI/LLM-based products (hands-on or adjacent experience)
Experience with API testing (Postman, REST clients)
Understanding of prompt behavior and non-deterministic outputs
Strong grasp of testing fundamentals and quality mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup setting
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
Light exposure to agentic or multi-step workflows
Basic automation experience (Java, Python, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, etc.)
Familiarity with data-heavy or analytics products
