2050 Healthcare is looking for a seasoned Medical Director – Rehabilitation Services to lead clinical governance and medical operations at our Rehabilitation Center. This is a leadership role for an experienced ICU / Critical Care /Neuro/Ortho/physician who wants to drive high-quality, patient-centric rehab and post-acute care.
Role Overview You will provide overall medical leadership for medically complex rehabilitation patients transitioning from ICU and acute care settings, ensuring continuity of care, safety, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities Lead medical operations and clinical governance for the rehabilitation center
Oversee care of post-ICU and step-down patients (neurological, post-surgical, respiratory, trauma, long-stay critical illness, etc.)
Establish and monitor clinical protocols for rehabilitation, step-down care, and chronic critical care
Ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and compliance with NABH and regulatory standards




Mentor and lead physicians, nurses, therapists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams
Collaborate closely with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychology, and nursing teams
Review complex cases, manage clinical risk, and act as the highest medical authority for escalation
Drive documentation standards, audits, and continuous quality improvement
Eligibility Criteria MBBS with MD/DNB in Critical Care Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Pulmonology, or related ICU specialty
10–15 years of post-qualification experience with strong ICU and high-dependency care exposure
Experience managing long-stay, ventilator-dependent, or medically complex patients
Prior leadership or medical administration experience is a solid advantage
Mandatory Requirements Must be an ICU / Critical Care/ Neuro surgeon/ Ortho/ physician
Must be currently based in Bangalore
Experience in step-down care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care is highly preferred
