Role overview
As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you shall be responsible for sourcing , hiring and onboarding talent for The Hosteller’s head office corporate roles for various teams including business development (real-estate), transformation (interior designers/architects/civil engineers), sales, tech, HR, marketing, finance & accounting, etc. roles.
The role translates approved hiring plans into timely, high-quality closures, ensures strong stakeholder alignment, maintains hiring data hygiene and manages recruiter performance. You will work closely with the senior Talent Acquisition team members on workforce planning, analytics, and hiring strategy, while independently owning day-to-day hiring execution and delivery for head office roles.
Responsibilities
Hiring delivery
Own end-to-end hiring delivery for assigned head office functions and roles across levels
Partner closely with functional heads to understand role context, capability expectations, and urgency
Ensure all approved positions are closed within timelines and quality benchmarks
Drive solid sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, referrals, agencies, niche consultants, and targeted talent pools
Maintain healthy offer-to-joining ratios through effective candidate engagement and expectation setting
Proactively identify hiring risks (market scarcity, compensation mismatch, stakeholder delays) and recommend mitigation plans
Hiring data & reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date hiring dashboards for all head office roles
Track and analyse key hiring metrics such as TAT, source effectiveness, interview - to - offer ratios, offer drop-offs, and joining ratios
Share regular hiring updates, risk flags, and insights with the senior team members
Ensure strong data hygiene across trackers, CMS, and reporting formats
Forecasting & talent pool support
Support the team in building hiring forecasts based on growth plans, backfills, and organisational changes
Actively build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring head office roles
Validate hiring demand and role prioritisation with business stakeholders and HRBPs
Feed market insights (talent availability, compensation trends, skill demand) into workforce planning discussions
Team & stakeholder management
Manage and guide recruiter(s) handling head office hiring, ensuring delivery discipline and quality outcomes
Conduct regular check-ins, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions with recruiter(s)
Work closely with business leaders, HRBPs, L&D;, and Finance to ensure hiring plans align with organisational needs
Set clear expectations with stakeholders on role scope, hiring timelines, and candidate quality
Push back constructively on unclear, constantly changing, or unrealistic hiring requirements
Process, governance & compliance
Ensure adherence to SOPs, approval workflows, and hiring governance standards
Maintain compliance across offer approvals, documentation, background checks, and joining formalities
Ensure offer letters and employment documentation are accurate and issued within defined SLAs
Escalate risks, deviations, or bottlenecks to senior team members in a timely and structured manner
Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in HR or a related discipline
Min. 7 years of hospitality/retail experience in talent acquisition, with strong exposure to white-collar/corporate hiring
Strong stakeholder management, follow-up, and recruiter team leadership skills
Comfort with hiring data, dashboards, trackers, and analytics-driven decision-making
Calm, structured, and accountable with the ability to operate independently
