Role and Responsibilities

As the Head of Global Markets PC you will be responsible to

Lead the end-to-end Markets Product Control and controllership function for the CIB Markets business. Manage and oversees trading activities, providing insights and analysis to support the business
Ensure robust financial governance, accurate P&L; and balance sheet reporting, and full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Acts as a strategic finance partner to CIB and Markets CFOs, supporting business growth , new product launches and risk and compliances .
Drives the design and implementation of best-in-class control frameworks across revenue recognition (IFRS 9, IFRS 15), daily P&L; reporting, P&L; attribution, and balance sheet substantiation.
Owns regulatory relationships and audit outcomes across jurisdictions, ensuring best-in-class compliance with accounting standards, conduct frameworks, and risk controls
Design and operate a robust control environment for Finance processes to maintain the integrity, valuation,



and accuracy of the Bank’s records.
Interacts and manage various stakeholders such as the front office, trading desk , market risk, technical accounting, finance, internal audit, compliance, operational risk, regulators, and external auditors.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the role , you will need to have ;

A Bachelor’s degree OR a Master's Degree in accounting, finance, or any related field ; preferably with a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA) .
Over 15 years of working experience in Global Markets product Control and a robust exposure to Markets products like FX, FXO, Rates, XVA, Commodities and Credit .
A deep technical knowledge of Product Control frameworks (e.g., IFRS9, IAS 39) and practical experience in financial instrument valuation
Strong interpersonal communication skills to build an effective internal network across the numerous stakeholders.
